"Emily Waugh - Age 1 Yr."
This found photo (eBay) of an adorable thumb sucking one year old girl is identified as “Emily Waugh”. The photographer embossment on the bottom left corner appears to say “Lacey”. The only marking on the back is her name.
After some genealogy sleuthing I discovered that she was born Emily Louise Irons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip S. Irons of Mt. Holly, New Jersey as this engagement announcement from 1942 indicates.
On Saturday, July 4, 1942 she married U.S. Ensign Charles MacCarthy Waugh of the United States Naval Reserve. He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Karl T. Waugh (1879-1971). Dr. Waugh was a former president of Dickinson College.

Emily Louise Irons Waugh (1920-1982) died in 1982 and is buried at the Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Owls Nest, Delaware.
